Bike is on the way....

So... I ordered my bike today! It should be here shortly, I can't wait! I went to the Performance Bicycle shop in Cary this past saturday to buy the majority of my gear. It's a lonnng list of stuff we need, and I'm never afraid to throw my money around. So I spent about $650, (not including the bike, B&B provides that). Haha, yes, I know. A little ridiculous. But it was all essential to my trip, except for maybe the new sunglasses... But I figured if I was spending about $600, what's another $60? Oh, and btw... none of the $650 was fundraised money, it's out of my pocket. All money fundraised is in the name of Bike and Build, and I have no access to it. So don't worry, I'm not spending your hard-earned money on a fancy pair of shorts.... just my own. And speaking of YOUR money... Ya'll rock! Fundraising has definitely gotten better as of late, I now have raised over $1700! I appreciate all the help!! And for those still waiting to donate.. I still need you. I have to raise at least another 300 by mid-March (which is 2 MONTHS PRIOR TO OUR DEPARTURE), and I HAVE to hit that $4000 mark before we leave. But I'm not worried, I have great family and friends, ya'll are taking good care of me. Whelp, that's all for now. I'll post pictures of my bike when it comes in. I can't wait for May 15th!
